Merit-Based Scholarships and Remissions
Alumna Legacy Scholarship
Cornelia Connelly School has been the singular, independent, Catholic, all-girls high school in Orange County for almost 60 years, and we are proud of our amazing alumnae. We invite legacy applicants (daughters, granddaughters, nieces, sisters, and cousins) of alumnae to submit a letter identifying your relationship to a Connelly alumna to receive $1,000 off your tuition for each year of attendance at Cornelia Connelly School. Alumna Legacy Scholarship letter must be submitted to the Admissions Office by the scholarship deadline to be considered for the following school year.
Work-Study Scholarship
The community of families at Connelly is diverse, vibrant, and talented! Please submit a letter detailing how the skills of a member of your family can contribute to the school in order to be considered for a reduced tuition. Each submission will be reviewed by the Tuition Assistance Review Committee and considered on an individual basis. Decisions will be communicated directly to each family. Work-Study Scholarship letter must be submitted to the Admissions Office by the Tuition Assistance deadline to be considered for the following school year. In addition, Work-Study Scholarship letters will be accepted on a rolling basis and considered as they are received.
Tri-School Employee Tuition Remission
Cornelia Connelly School is proud to partner with Servite High School and Rosary Academy to offer a 50% Tuition Remission to employees in the Tri-School Community. Please submit a letter detailing your employment within the Tri-School Community to receive 50% off of tuition for each year that your daughter attends Connelly. Tri-School Employee letter must be submitted to the Admissions Office by the Tuition Assistance application deadline to be instated for the following school year.

Cornelia Connelly School offers more than 10 merit scholarships to ninth-grade applicants each year. View scholarship descriptions here.
To be eligible for merit-based scholarships, applicants must:
- have already submitted an application for admission
- take the HSPT at Cornelia Connelly School on Admissions Testing Day
- complete and submit the Online Scholarship Application
NOTE: Tuition Assistance is available for all domestic grade levels, while Merit Scholarships are only available for domestic incoming ninth graders.
Tuition Assistance
Cornelia Connelly School is committed to providing tuition assistance for college-bound high school students who satisfy admissions criteria, but may be discouraged from applying due to financial need. Approximately 61% of Connelly’s students receive tuition assistance.
Families are encouraged to apply for tuition assistance if, after reviewing all financial resources and assessing how much they can afford to contribute to their daughter’s education, they determine they are unable to afford Connelly’s entire tuition cost. Tuition assistance awards are strictly need-based and do not require repayment. All applications for tuition assistance are initially processed by FACTS.
Tuition Assistance Application Instructions
Families must reapply for tuition assistance each year and financial awards are not guaranteed.
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment conducts the financial need analysis for Cornelia Connelly School.
Tuition Assistance for the 2019-2020 School Year
The materials listed below are due by February 8, 2019.
To apply for Tuition Assistance, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Submit a signed and completed application (click here for FACTS online application)
Step 2: Pay the $35 application fee
Step 3: Submit copies of your most recent tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
Step 4: Submit copies of your 2018 W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.
Step 5: Submit copies of supportive documents for Social Security income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Worker’s Compensation, and TANF.
Cornelia Connelly School will implement the following policies for Tuition Assistance Awards for the 2019-2020 school year:
1) No late applications will be accepted.
2) College expenses for older children or parents will not be considered.
3) Signed tuition assistance acceptance letters must be received in conjunction with an enrollment contract and registration fee by the registration deadline or the tuition assistance will be redistributed to other families in need.
