Haylie (’13) and Hannah (’15) Butler are two of Connelly’s outstanding alumnae. The Butler sisters were very active during their years at Connelly, achieving success academically, in sports, and in the arts. Both received honors at graduation, including receiving the Connelly Cup (Cornelia Connelly School’s highest honor), as well as earning the title of Highest Academic Average (4-year cumulative). Connelly knew these high achievers would move on to big things, and they are both well on their way!
Haylie Butler, who is a Biology and Spanish double major, with pre-med in her sights, is a junior at Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She recently spent five months of the past school year abroad in Argentina where she became proficient in the language, a goal that would help prepare her for her next venture – living in Costa Rica, where she will run health care clinics, and where speaking Spanish fluently is a necessity. She will be studying Tropical Disease, Environmental Change, and Human Health as part of her Holy Cross curriculum.
