The recently opened Sullivan-Henry Athletic Field meets CIF-regulations for softball and soccer. The field is named after Connelly’s beloved and long-time teacher, Timmerie Sullivan-Henry, who has taught Physical Education at Cornelia Connelly School for nearly 40 years. Timmerie said, “It was an event that I will be grateful for the rest of my life. Some people get to dream a lifetime about working in a place where people value each other and get to teach what they are passionate about. I have been blessed to have a career so full of happiness that I wake up every morning and my dream becomes a reality.”
The Most Reverend Bishop Vann presided over a special Mass held in Connelly’s Gunther Auditorium, which was filled to capacity with students, faculty, staff, parents, Board members, and alumnae.
