Family Connection/Naviance has new scholarship postings throughout the year. Check the program on a regular basis for new listings. Here are a few of the scholarships below:
OppU Achievers Scholarship
Award Amount: $2,500
Deadline: March 31, June 30, September 30, December 31
Four times per year, the OppU financial literacy program awards a student $2,500 to help alleviate the financial stress of college. To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must: Be enrolled full time in high school; Possess a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0; Be a U.S. citizen.
Asian Pacific Fund Scholarship Programs
Award Amount: Ranging from $1000- $20, 000
Deadline: Varies between Mar 31, 2018 – May 14, 2018
The Asian Pacific Fund administers 9 scholarship programs to help undergraduate and graduate students achieve their education goals. To apply for a scholarship administered by the Asian Pacific Fund, please review the complete eligibility criteria for each scholarship program (below), and download the application for the program(s) for which you are eligible.

The scholarship is available to any High School senior. The Scholarship is open nationwide to those who will be attending college fall semester of 2018. Special consideration will be give to an undergraduate who is interested in pursuing a career in Home Healthcare and knows someone that worked in the nuclear industry and was subsequently approved for benefits under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program (EEOICPA), but anyone meeting the requirements & can demonstrate an interested in pursuing a career in Healthcare will be considered
The Horizons Scholarship supports outstanding high school students on a fully-funded experience in San Francisco, in their pursuit to become leaders in technology. Our programs provide immersive software engineering and web/mobile development courses geared towards high-achieving high school students. The program is for 7 weeks over summer 2018 and students need not have programming experience to apply!
The CA Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation’s Scholarship Program, now in its fourth year, will commence taking online applications from eligible students. The program was established to assist deserving students by offering financial assistance to meet educational expenses. Sixty $1000 scholarships will be awarded this year. In order to be eligible for scholarship consideration students must meet the following requirements:
- Be a full time student in good academic standing at an accredited college or university, OR
- Be a graduating high school senior with written proof of acceptance at an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5.
- Submit a completed online application with all required supplementary documents by the application deadline.
