Dear Connelly families, if you have small stuffed animals (7-8” tall) and small toys to donate to Vietnamese children in need for a mission trip that Taryn Diep ’19 will be going on in just a few short weeks, please bring them in! Taryn will be serving with Project Vietnam Foundation, which is a non-profit humanitarian organization that is working to create sustainable pediatric healthcare in Vietnam while providing free healthcare and aid to impoverished rural regions across the country.
In Vietnam today, there are over 1.2 million disabled children who do not have access to any medical care! For 22 years, PVNF has been championing the need to serve the sick and disadvantaged, reaching over 89,000 people in remote areas of Vietnam with health, dental, and vision care in addition to performing over 1,900 life-changing surgeries for children with birth deformities and eye defects.
