All-School Service Day (Tuesday)
The campus will be quiet as students, faculty and staff will be participating in our traditional All-School Service Day. On this day, our community engages in service to help those in need across Southern California. We have students and faculty/staff going to food pantries, biological preserves, retirement homes and more, to lend a hand however we can.
Rice Bowl and Film (Wednesday)
Lunch together in the auditorium will consist of a simple meal of plain white rice. This annual activity is meant to increase empathy for those that live in hunger around the world. We also choose a film to accompany our meal. This year we will watch a documentary on the hidden costs associated with the retail clothing industry and its effects around the world.
Global Solidarity Fair (Thursday)
All are welcome to join us at the Global Solidarity Fair beginning at 1:15 p.m. We will celebrate the work that our student-led clubs have contributed to raising awareness and funding for a particular cause in the world. Each club runs an informational booth to share their work (and inspired snacks or crafts) with their classmates and teachers. Earlier in the day, students will participate in a variety of fun, challenging, and eye-opening experiences that will bring all that they have learned about global solidarity into focus. We will conclude the day with a prayer service to channel our prayers toward the less fortunate around the world.
