Incoming ninth grade students
Are you going to be a ninth-grader in the fall? If so, this information is for YOU! We are currently accepting applications for the Class of 2023 for the 2019-2020 school year.
Eighth grade students who are applying for admission to Connelly for the following school year must complete the following steps:
Step 1: Complete and submit the Online Application Form
Step 2: Submit a $50 application fee
Step 3: Submit an Academic Reference Form
Step 4: Submit official seventh and eighth grade transcripts (Transcript Request Form)
Step 5: Submit HSPT scores. Take the HSPT at Connelly on January 26, 2019, or mail your daughter’s High School Placement Test (HSPT) or ISEE results to the Admissions Office. If your daughter has not taken the HSPT or ISEE, please contact the Admissions Office.
Step 6: After these items have been submitted, the Admissions Office will contact you to schedule an appointment.

Early Decision Deadline – December 6, 2018
Students wishing to receive a conditional early acceptance before January must apply for Early Decision.
Application items due for Early Decision:
- Online Application
- $50 Application Fee
- Register for Entrance Exam
- Teacher Recommendation
- 7th grade report card and first quarter 8th grade grades.
Scholarship Applications and 7th and 8th grade Official Transcripts are due by January 25, 2019.
Provisional acceptance letters will be mailed before Christmas. Final acceptances will depend on entrance exam scores, official transcripts, and the admissions interview.
Regular Decision Deadline – January 25, 2019.
Transfer students
Students wishing to apply for grades 10-12 should follow these steps:
Step 1: Complete and submit the Online Application Form
Step 2: Submit a $50 application fee
Step 3: Submit an Academic Reference Form
Step 4: Submit official high school transcripts (Transcript Request Form)
Step 5: After these items have been submitted, the Admissions Office will contact you to schedule an appointment.
International Students
International students from abroad, or already in the United States, should follow these steps to apply:
Step 1: Complete and submit the Online Application Form
Step 2: Submit a $50 application fee
Step 3: Submit an Academic Reference Form
Step 4: Submit official transcripts, translated into English (Transcript Request Form)
Step 5: Once steps 1-4 are completed, the Admissions Office will contact you to set up an appointment. Interviews can be done via skype if the applicant is not in the United States.
Step 6: After the phone interview, you might be asked to complete a writing sample. The Admissions Office will inform you after the interview as to whether this is necessary.
Note: International students are expected to have excellent verbal and written English skills. This school is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant students.
